| 20:1 Another war of the Armenians against the Roman forces and the defeat of Silon and Bendidius:

20:2 Հերովդէս անցեալ ի Հռովմ` առաջի Անտոնիոսի եւ Կեսարու եւ սինկղիտոսին զինքեան միամտութիւն առ Հռոմայեցիսն պատմէ, եւ թագաւոր Հրէաստանի յԱնտոնիոսէ եղեալ` առնու իւր զաւրավիգն աւգնականութեան զԲենդիդիոս սպարապետ Հռոմայեցւոց զաւրաւք, ի պատերազմել ընդ զաւրս Հայոց եւ քակել զԱնտիգոնոս:
| 20:2 When he arrived in Rome, Herod went before Antony, Caesar, and the senate and told of his own fidelity to the Romans. He was made king of Judaea by Antony and received in support Bendidius, the Roman general, with an army, to wage war against the Armenian forces and destroy Antigonus:

20:3 Որոյ հասեալ յԱսորիս, փախստական առնէ զզաւրս Հայոց, եւ զՍիղոն թողեալ ընդդիմակաց Հայոց մերձ ի յԵփրատ, եւ զՊակարոս սպանեալ` դառնայ յԵրուսաղէմ ի վերայ Անտիգոնի:
| 20:3 He arrived in Syria and put the Armenian army to flight. Leaving Silon to oppose the Armenians near the Euphrates, he killed Pacorus and returned to Jerusalem against Antigonus:

20:4 Իսկ Հայոց միւսանգամ աւգնականութիւն ի Պարսից գտեալ` դիմեալ ի վերայ Սիղոնի, փախստական զնա ի Բենդիդիոս արկանեն, հեղմունս արեանց առնելով անբաւս:
| 20:4 But the Armenians, having again obtained help from the Persians, attacked Silon and threw him back in flight on Bendidius, causing infinite torrents of blood:
