69:1 Թէ զիա՛րդ ցեղն Արտաշիսի Պարսից արքայի մինչեւ ցվախճան:
| 69:1 What manner of clan was that of Artashēs, king of Persia, until its extinction:

69:2 Արդ` անցցուք այսուհետեւ ընդ թիւ թագաւորաց ցեղին Արտաշիսի` մինչեւ ցբառնալ ի նոցանէ տէրութեանն:
| 69:2 Let us now pass through the list of kings of the clan of Artashēs up to the point when the throne was taken from them:

69:3 Յետ Արշաւրի, որպէս ասացաք, թագաւորէ Արտաշէս ամս երեսուն եւ չորս. Դարեհ ամս երեսուն. Արշակ ամս ինն եւ տասն. Արտաշէս ամս քսան. Պերոզ ամս երեսուն եւ չորս. Վաղարշ ամս յիսուն. Արտաւան ամս երեսուն եւ մի:
| 69:3 After Arshavir, as we said, Artashēs ruled for thirty- four years, Dareh for thirty years, Arshak for twenty- nine years, Artashēs for twenty years, Peroz for thirty- four years, Vaḷarsh for fifty years, Artavan for thirty- one years:

69:4 Զսա սպանեալ Ստահրացւոյն Արտաշրի, որդւոյ Սասանայ, բառնալով զթագաւորութիւնն Պարթեւաց, հանելով ի նոցանէ զաշխարհն ժառանգութեան:
| 69:4 This last was killed by Artashir of Stahr, the son of Sasan, when he seized the Parthian throne and deprived them of their hereditary land:

69:5 Բազում են ժամանակիս այսորիկ պատմողք ի Պարսից եւ յԱսորւոց, այլ եւ ի Յունաց:
| 69:5 Many are the historians of that period among the Persians and Syrians and also the Greeks:

69:6 Քանզի ի սկզբանէ թագաւորութեանն Պարթեւաց մինչեւ ցդադարումն` ընդ Հռոմայեցւոց կալան գործ, երբեմն հնազանդութեամբ եւ երբեմն պատերազմաւ, զոր պատմէ Պաղեփատոս եւ Պորփիւր եւ Փիլեմոն, եւ այլք բազումք:
| 69:6 From the beginning of the Parthian kingdom until its demise, they had relations with the Romans, sometimes in subjection, sometimes in war, as relate Palephatos and Porphyry and Philemon and many others:
