6:1 Bishop Pawstos had a brother, a marvelous, religious cenobite of the mountain retreats:
| 6:1 Եւ էր եղբայր մի Փաւստեայ եպիսկոպոսի, կրօնազգեաց մենակեաց անապատակեաց լեառնական սքանչելի:

6:2 Both of them were of Roman (Greek) nationality. All the days of his life this man wandered about with great piety:
| 6:2 Եւ էին լեալ սոքա ազգաւ Հոռոմ. այս այրս այս մեծաւ վարեօք շրջէր զամենայն աւուրս կենաց իւրոց:

6:3 He dwelled in the Arayratean district and acted in accordance with the Holy Spirit. Until the day of his repose, he wandered the wildernesses as a vegetarian in the mountains, wearing skins:
| 6:3 Եւ էր սա բնակեալ յԱյրարատեան գաւառին, եւ վարէր նա Հոգւով սրբով. շրջէր սա յանապատս մաշկահանդերձ ճարակաւոր ի լերինն մինչեւ յօր հանգստեան իւրոյ:

6:4 Then he died. They brought his body from the wilderness and buried it at the bun village of the patriarch Nerses, at a place called Amok. Every year they commemorated his death:
| 6:4 Ապա հանկեաւ սա. եւ բերին յանապատէն զմարմին սորա, թաղեցին ի բուն ի գեւղն հայրապետին Ներսէսի, որում անուն Ամօքն կոչի. եւ ամի ամի զյիշատակ նորա կատարէին:
